Abstract

Society is constantly evolving and fashion is always following this movement. What used to be just a protector for the feet and in some moments an adornment, the footwear becomes more important functions for its users and with this new materials arise.Care can then be taken in regard to comfort, which must be taken when making shoes. The present work proposes the creation of shoes that combine ergonomics and design. Therefore, it is understood that the search for more appropriate and attractive alternatives in this segment is relevant, since, although there are already products that benefit the consumer on issues of aesthetics and sustainability, they do not want to. In this way it is perceived that the greater focus is the well-being and the quality of life, however, it is faced with some questions as, for example: Does comfort prevail?Other aspects analyzed are: the aging of the population, stressful cities, stressful jobs and the demand of the population for technological products. Currently, companies that are specialized in orthopedic footwear are on the market, but they do not combine design with comfort and therefore do not please much consumers.Through the studies presented in this article we propose a new perspective with the intention of modifying the standards followed by the industries to result in the creation of a differentiated product in the footwear market where comfort will be prioritized, however the design will also be an extremely relevant factor throughout of the whole creation process.
